iPhone 5C (7th generation) Summary

The iPhone 5c was released in 2013

In September 2013 Apple has launched two new iPhone models simultaneously on the market for the first time. One of the two new models was the iPhone 5C. The, in comparison to the iPhone 5S, cheaper model, could not keep up with the new technical course of the 5S. This is reflected in the fact that the technical specifications are identical compared to the iPhone 5. This would give this iPhone the name: “iPhone cheap”.

The only big change was the new outside look, the material and the software.
The new smartphone was presented in bright colors and a new plastic housing. But all things considered, this iPhone could not convince the broad mass of the Apple users and was too expensive for younger user to change to Apple. But even if it wasn’t event sold as much as the iPhone 5S, the sales figures were still better the ones from the competitors, such as Samsung or Windows.

Special features / innovations of this model:

  • Plastic case
  • Available in colorful and bright colors
  • Apple iOS 7

If you wished for more technical updates, you should change to the iPhone 5S.
