iPhone 6S (9th generation) Summary

With the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus Apple released the traditionally “s” version of last year’s predecessor in 2015. This time the difference between those two models could be found in the size – much as with the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus. While there was literally no difference in the appearance of the new iPhone, compared to the normal “6” Version, the innovations could be found inside the smartphone. The 64-bit A9 processor, LTE Advanced and the faster Wi-Fi chip not only make the iPhone 6s faster but also ensure a better data connection.

The new camera with 12 megapixel sensor provides an even better image quality, while the built in 3D-Touch Display technology allows new control options via touch gesture and new app features. The front camera improved from 1.2 megapixels to 5 megapixels, so good selfies could be taken much easier.

Special features / innovations of this model:

  • 3D Touch Display
  • 12 MP camera with 4K video
  • 5 MP front camera
