iPhone 7 Plus: Renderings Show 4 Major Features
The rumor mill related to the iPhone 7 Plus is practically unstoppable. While we’ll have to wait until fall to see what Apple will bring to the table, these newly released renderings showing purported prototype designs should keep things interesting. The renderings have been created by our colleagues at staff.tv, who made them in order to visualize all of the most interesting rumors with respect to the iPhone 7 Plus.
The schematics used for the renderings were obtained at Catcher Technology, who claim to be a part of Apple’s supply chain. None other than @OnLeaks leaked the data to stuff.tv, which makes the claims quite believable due to his high rate of success in the past. The iPhone 7 Plus with its 5.5 inch screen diagonal is displayed in these renderings with the following 4 key features: The dual-camera system, the Smart Connector and the use of the lightning port instead of the headphone jack. In addition, the antenna breaks have been repositioned and occupy a different space on the outer casing, as to not interrupt the design. The video gives one a good idea on how Apple’s next big flagship device might look.
Given that the outer dimensions are identical to the iPhone 6s Plus, one should not expect Apple to wow consumers with a fresh or radical new design. Instead, expect a powerful successor (performance-wise) and wait and see what kind of innovation Apple will implement in terms of features.
