How to Hide Multiple Photos on iPhone
We’ve covered how you can hide a photo on iPhone and the method works pretty well, unless you have a lot of pictures that need to be hidden from the public eye. Then another technique that has become available in iOS 9 might be of interest to you: Here’s how to hide multiple photos on iPhone (at once). Why would you hide an image? Well, depending on the content it might only be appropriate for certain audiences, or you’ve taken pictures of birthday gifts which the recipient shouldn’t see. There are plenty of legitimate reasons to hide an image.
Note that hidden images in iOS are still accessible if the person knows how to access them. It is by all means only a very superficial way of hiding content and suitable for quickly displaying an album to friends, but making sure that some of the images are filtered out for the current viewing session.
How to hide multiple photos on iOS 9
Open up one of your “Moments” in the “Photos” app. Tap the “Select” button at the top right, then tap the photos that are to be hidden. Next, tap the “Share” button at the bottom left and select “Hide”.
Hint: The only way to access these Photos is to look explicitly for hidden images, within your “Albums” tab. You can try hiding images within an album, but they will solely disappear from the “Photos” tab and still be displayed in the respective album. This might be confusing for users not familiar with iOS and lead to unexpected situations.
