Twitter – Show Best Tweets First
By default, the official Twitter app on iPhone will display your timeline in chronological order. If you prefer seeing the best tweets first, that is the tweets which have been liked, retweeted and replied to the most, you can adjust a simple setting and you’re good to go. Setting up your Twitter timeline in this way can be a great time-saver and ensure that you will see the (to your interests) most relevant content on top. This way you won’t have to dig through all of the material on Twitter to get to the most interesting stories.
Prerequisites: You will need the official Twitter app, which is available for free in the iTunes App Store. Also, please make sure to use the latest version of the app and update it via the App Store if needed.
How to show the best tweets first
Open up the Twitter app on your iPhone and tap Account to get to your own profile. Then tap the cogwheel icon and select Settings to get to the overview. Tap the account’s name for which you would like to customize the tweet order, then select Timeline personalization. Enable the toggle titled Show me the best Tweets first.
This setting will sort your tweets according to your interests and their engagement rating instead of displaying them chronologically in your timeline.
