iPhone 4 (4th Generation) Summary
With the 4th generation, which was introduced by Steve Jobs in 2010, the design of the Apple iPhone has been completely revised. The case got a lot thinner and was now made of scratch-resistant safety glass and stainless steel. Thus, the new design cemented in the minds of consumers and was an integral part of the Apple brand.
The iPhone 4 came with a lot of technical innovations, starting with the Micro-SIM. The operating system got, in addition to the regular software update, his known official name iOS (previously iPhone OS). Further a new retina display was installed. With the retina display the iPhone got a much higher pixel density. With this technology the resolution increased to 960 x 640 pixels within 3.5 inches. The A4 processor improved to 800 MHz and the iPhone 4 got 512 MB RAM. Apple’s new flagship cam with a new front camera with 0.3 megapixels, so you could communicate via Face Time. The rear cam could now record Videos in HD format with 5 megapixels.
