How to Sort Your iPhone Apps Alphabetically
Now that 64 GB is the middle way of storage options, a lot of users complain that they’ve lost track of where their apps are. Most probably, they are lost in some sort of half-baked sorting system we all tend to start and then forget to finish. Here’s a tutorial on how to sort iPhone apps alphabetically on your Home Screen to give you a head start. From there on, you can go about and put your apps into folders and reorganize them to taste.
How to reset your Home Screen layout on iPhone
In order to reset our Home Screen Layout but keep all of our apps, we will have to open up the “Settings” app and go to “General”, then look for the section labeled “Reset” and tap “Reset Home Screen Layout”. This is all you need to do to clean up your Home Screen and return everything to sensible defaults.
What does this option do, exactly? Well, it reorganizes all of your apps alphabetically while deleting all folders. The apps that were stored within folders are, however, completely preserved and will be sorted along with any apps that were not stored in folder structures.
Pretty cool, right? If you want to learn how to put folders into folders (nested folders) on iOS 9, then check out out tutorial on the subject.
